Foley & Lardner LLP and Johnson Controls International, two leaders in intellectual property, have partnered to create the Johnson Controls - Foley IP Law Fellowship for current first-year law students interested in pursuing a career in intellectual property law.The fellowship combines two outstanding summer internships followed by an opportunity to become a new IP associate at Foley & Lardner LLP. The JCI-Foley Fellow will spend the summer following the first year of law school, 10 weeks beginning in May/June of 2020, at Johnson Control's corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. If the JCI-Foley Fellow performs well during the first summer at Johnson Controls, the Fellow will join Foley's Summer Associate Program as a 2L summer associate, for 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June of 2021, in Foley's Milwaukee office (or other agree-to Foley office). Following a successful completion of the 2021 Summer Associate Program, the JCI-Foley Fellow will have the opportunity to join Foley & Lardner LLP as a new associate in the fall after law school graduation.Diversity is a core value of Johnson Controls and Foley & Lardner LLP.
