Positions in this function maintain and enhance relationships with state regulators and interface with business regarding regulatory affairs. Respond to inquiries, requests and actions by state regulators, including complaints and requests for assistance. Positions may be responsible for completing multi-state product filings, filing of provider contracts, other filings, legal research, report generation including CAP management/monitoring for one or more states. Track new laws and regulations in coordination with Government Affairs and support changes to ensure compliance. May work with Finance to manage market conduct exams and financial audits. Anticipates policy and regulatory issues and reviews legislation both from a content and political perspective. May also manage provider disruptions and network issues. - Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff.- Impact of work is most often at the regional (e.g. multi-state) level, or is responsible for a major portion of a business segment, functional area or line of business.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
