Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking an experienced Survey CAD Technician. Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, and a detail-oriented individual interested in joining our Land Surveying departments in our Danville, VA or Raleigh, NC offices. Applicant must be able to work in a fast paced environment, provide daily coordination with key staff, while assisting on multiple projects including but not limited to transportation surveys (route, bridge and intersection), transmission line surveys as well as ALTA, boundary, topographic, and right-of way acquisition.

Responsibilities
    Assist with field crew preparation
  • Process field data collection files
  • Prepare digital terrain models
  • Deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.
  • Prepare final plats of as-built, boundary, topographic and other surveys
  • Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Must have High School Diploma, degree in Land Surveying is a plus.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of survey experience.
  • Experience with NCDOT is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work and interact with clients.
  • Must be dependable, conscientious, self-motivated and driven.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Must be willing and able to travel (short term)
  • Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
  • Must pass a mandatory drug test.
