Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The mission of the Division of Student Success is to work in partnership with the University community to deliver high quality services to facilitate the recruitment, retention and graduation of a diverse student population and strive to provide service, leadership, and transitional student support for UNCG. The Division of Student Success is committed to designing, implementing, and providing the services necessary to promote student success throughout the entire student life cycle from day one to diploma. This division includes the offices of the Dean of Undergraduate Studies, University Advising, New Student Transitions & First Year Experience, Students First Office, Academic Achievement Center, TRiO Programs, UNCG Guarantee, GEAR UP UNCG, and the Multiliteracy Centers (Speaking Center, Writing Center, and Math Help Center).
Position Summary
The Student Success Compliance Coordinator provides strategic support and management of the University's Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) initiatives as it relates to student success. Working closely with the Division of Student Success and the Office of Assessment and Accreditation, the Coordinator manages documentation and reporting requirements and ensures alignment with SACSCOC QEP and NC-SARA compliance requirements. The coordinator is responsible for assisting with the campus-wide implementation, promotion, and dissemination of QEP and NC-SARA related materials to all relevant constituencies on and off campus.

The coordinator reports directly to the Associate Vice Provost for Retention & Student Success and collaborates with administrators, campus-partners, faculty, and support staff to achieve and evaluate QEP program goals and objectives.

The Quality Enhancement Plan is an integral component of the SACSCOC reaffirmation of accreditation process and is derived from an institution's ongoing comprehensive planning and evaluation processes. It reflects and affirms a commitment to enhance overall institutional quality and effectiveness by focusing on an issue that the institution considers important to improving student learning outcomes and/or student success. The QEP is a comprehensive decennial review to ensure that the university continues to meet standards of quality.

The National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) is an agreement among member states, districts and territories that sets national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education courses and programs. NC-SARA allows students to benefit from educational services across state lines.
Minimum Qualifications
* Master's degree from a four-year university or college, or a bachelor's degree with an equivalent amount of education and experience, in the area higher education administration, educational research, academic assessment, or a related field
* At least three years of professional experience in a college or university working within academic, student success, assessment or student affairs
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with different university constituencies, including faculty, staff, administrators, students, and alumni.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and effective time management to meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Leadership skills that help others to understand and commit to the vision and goals of the university
* Basic knowledge of technologies, including Excel, Word, presentation software, LMS systems, mass email platforms, social media platforms and management systems; and virtual program/webinar platforms
* Be available and willing to work irregular office hours during certain times of the year
Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates
Valid NC Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience leading college or university QEP or State Authorization Compliance activities
* Experience in large-scale programming planning, implementation, and evaluation
