Production Associate 3 - Danville, VA
Description/Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities

  • Produce all Superflute orders according to order specifications
  • Maintain continual supply of J-board to Sus-Rap lines as necessary
  • Assist machine operators in splicing paper if available


Secondary Responsibilites

  • Perform housekeeping duties as necessary to maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Understand and follow safety requirements, including following proper lock-out/tag-out procedures and wearing safety shoes, ear plugs and glasses
  • Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to products and processes
  • Identify and record any problems relating to products and processes
  • Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels
  • Control further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
  • Practice safe work habits such as having guards in place
  • Follow proper emergency procedures
  • Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Show leadership through self-motivation and support of/and cooperation with others
  • Use decision-making skills to effectively organize and plan
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Responsible for training and working closely with temporary labor
  • Other duties as described by the supervisor.
