Position: Account Manger/Outside Sales (Metals Service Center)
Territory: Central& Eastern North Carolina

Yarde Metals is looking for an experienced Account Manager to can maintain and expand market share in Central and Eastern North Carolina.

Responsibilities
- Develop an account retention and sales growth plan.
- Build strong, value-added business partnerships with customers.
- Identify customer requirements and present products, services, and programs to meet their needs.
- Secure contractual opportunities and increase sales through collaboration with product managers and inside sales associates.
- Prepare itineraries, call logs, expense reports and update customer account information.
- Assist the credit department with accounts receivable and collections activities.
- Consult with marketing on promotional initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school graduate, college degree preferred.
- Minimum (3) years sales experience in the metals industry.
- Proven success in account management.
- Experience directly related to the duties of the position.
- Strong command of the English language with effective platform and communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Professional presentation.
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must operate a company vehicle approximately 70% of the time and do so safely in various weather conditions.
- Available to work extended hours and weekends to entertain customers.
