Primary Function of Organizational Unit | North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) is an 1890 land-grant doctoral research university dedicated to learning, discovery, and community engagement. It is the largest historically black college or university (HBCU) in the nation and its enrollment exceeds 13,800 students, approximately 1500 of whom are graduate students.
