Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, involved in the care of individuals, families and patient groups who are dealing with cancer or other related diagnosis. This care may be in clinic or virtually, via telemedicine. Responsibilities may include duties related to prevention, screening, patient care, management, and research. May serve as direct caregiver, health care consultant, patient educator, administrator, or researcher. Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards and requirements. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
Join Blue Ridge Cancer Care (Roanoke, VA location) as a full-time Advanced Practice Provider and be on the forefront of a new value-based, cancer care model serving patients throughout Southwest Virginia. You will be providing care at a dedicated state-of-the-art oncology clinic which features on-site infusion as well as on-site lab draws. The new care model clinic not only focuses on ensuring that patients receive high-quality and comprehensive cancer care, but the providers have the resources, support, autonomy, and time needed to ensure that patients receive quality care. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and mission-driven team working to improve how patients receive cancer care in our region.
