Job Description
The Auditor will participate in audits as a team member, performing a variety of audit activities.
40 hours a week
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Interview clients, understand and document their processes.
  • Identify control strengths and weaknesses in a process.
  • Assist team leads and audit supervisors in meeting audit objectives.
  • Communicate timely and effectively with both team members and in-charge regarding audit observations.
  • Work to build productive relationships with internal audit team members and peers.
  • Seeks guidance to set priorities, own tasks and follows through.
  • Deliver quality audit work and meet the completion timeframes of each audit.
  • Commitment to professional development through continuing education.

Required Skills:
  • Interviewing skills.
  • Ability to gather information and document processes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking, ability to analyze a process for strengths, weaknesses and efficiencies.
  • Properly completes workpaper content in accordance with IIA and Valley Internal Audit standards.
  • Understands basic business processes and related control environment.
  • Familiarity with data analytics.
  • Maintains a healthy level of auditor skepticism in all situations.
  • Demonstrates reliability and dependability.
  • Demonstrates appropriate and effective business writing in work papers, audit issues etc.
  • Displays effective listening skills and organizes and expresses thoughts clearly and concisely.
  • Good interpersonal skills; approaches people with tact and respect.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new business, processes, and system quickly.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or related field such as Accounting, Finance or MIS, Credit, Data Analytics or Management and minimum 1 year experience in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Certification of CIA, CISA, or CPA is preferred.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
