Basic Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

$10,000 sign-on bonus for NEW HIRES only


As Aviation Mission Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) program, you'll be a member of the business team responsible for helping develop the roadmaps and objectives for the future of Army Aviation Mission Planning. In this role, you will be able to bring the user point of view to an outstanding development staff leading to a more efficient capability for our warfighter.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Operational Mission Planning experience on UH-60, CH-47, or AH64, thorough understanding of and experience applying the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) across multiple echelons, and Operational Concept Development.

What sets you apart:

  • Support the Mission Planning team in ensuring safety and freedom of flight for our Army Aviation soldiers.
  • You be part of a small team of engineers to create a modern, integrated Army Mission Planning tool that will be used by our Army rotary wing pilots.
  • As a key member of the business team, you will meet regularly with our systems, test, and user experience (Ux) teams to ensure we are designing in the capabilities that are needed by these pilots.
  • As a key interface to the Ux team you will meet regularly with the end users to ensure we are providing the capabilities they need.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to provide technical leadership and position others for success
  • Strong presentation and communications skills with experience in the art of negotiation and the ability to meet challenging customer requirements with win-win solutions

Target salary range: USD $118,424.20/Yr. - USD $131,376.80/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
